Summer Blood Challenge Delmarva employers take part in a friendly competition to save lives and prevent summer blood shortages. To "level the playing field," participating employers are grouped by size and participants earn points. Those organizations with the most points at the end of the Challenge receive awards. Plans are underway for a great evening at the Dupont Country Club to celebrate the end of the Summer Blood Challenge. The E-vite invitations to the SBC Hero Awards program have been sent to the Summer Blood Challenge contacts from each participating organization. Contacts are invited along with three guests from their company/organization. As the SBC contacts, you are encouraged to invite senior representatives and outstanding Summer Blood Challenge participants. Please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible by emailing lgravely@bbd.org or you may call Lisa Gravely, Marketing Manager at (302) 737-8405, ext. 887. RSVP deadline is Thursday, September 11. We look forward to hearing from you!! We have lots to celebrate. It's been a great summer! 
We are happy to announce the finalists for the Summer Blood Challenge grand prize of a cruise to the destination of choice! But not just yet. Six lucky individuals have been randomly selected as the 2008 Summer Blood Challenge finalists! Who will win the Cruise? The $500 Valero® gas card? The Fusion Fitness Center membership? Stay tuned for next week's e-newsletter to learn their identities!! It might be you or someone you know! Start Thinking About SBC 2009!
